The data was created on 2002, but i take this data because it still give you a 'representation' of situation in 2010 although it might not accurate.
The data shown is Number of courses taken by the students in universities..
Based on the data given on the pie chart, it is shown that the numbers of Non-science Graduates are dominating (>70%). The data above show that the number of Science based graduates( engineering, Science, Medical, Agriculture, Pharmacology) are very few (30%).
Even, some of the people who take Science in Undergraduate studies might change their direction and become a businessman or manager ..So, can you imagine how many Science people remaining ?
So, if you have a passion in Science or Engineering, don't push yourself to become a businessman only because Science and Engineering can't make or produce much money for your life. Even if you become an engineer in developed countries like USA, UK, or Germany, they will sure give you enough money for your living. Follow your passion, and you will become a much better person..
We have enough successful businessman, but the fact is the world need more scientist and engineer to develop a better life..
